I was thinking ... its been a while since the last UG meeting. So how about we have another one?

I was thinking; 9 July? How does that sound to you guys?

Any specific topic requests? One topic already included will be unit testing your BizTalk projects, some load testing of solutions and perhaps some other things like continuous integration with BizTalk?

Any other ideas?

This is afterall your community so let me know what you want to hear.

Perhaps some performance optimisatng strategies; some operational readiness etc?

I have added my vote to unit testing, but would also be interested in continuous integration. Are many others out there using continuous integration ?

There are far fewer people using CI than there should be.  This also goes for unit testing ... these two essential tasks are definitely under-utilised within a typical BizTalk development, yet they add SOOOO much.

Hopefully, through these forums, the user group and so on, we can change that.

Have you got any particular questions on CI that you are looking to get answers for?

No real questions - just wondering how far CI has penetrated in ZA

I have set up a trial system at work using Subversion & CC.Net, with NUnit, FxCop & NCover for testing. Works well.

I am now busy trying to convince the IT GM of its value ...

Good luck with that ... trying to understand the value of a good TDD approach is still beyond most IT pros in South Africa.

I would like to see BizUnit testing work in BizTalk, so if anyone has made it work; please share.

Seems the overwhelming response thus far is for unit testing; so i will explore BizUnit in more detail during the course of the week and we can discuss it at the meeting; perhaps work through a few scenarios together as a group in a hands-on community type collaborative effort

 Assertion.AssertEquals(Alistair.Attending, true); // ;) Unit Testing and CI seem like interesting topics. Am keen for anything.
